Kourtney Kardashian ‘wanted to cry’ when she turned 40

Kourtney Kardashian had a hard time accepting turning 40.

The reality star celebrated the milestone birthday in April 2019. And speaking in a trailer for the upcoming season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kourtney told younger sister Khloe that the big day was making her feel anxious.

“I do think that turning 40, like it almost makes you analyse like where you’re at in your life,” she shared. “It’s just giving me anxiety.”

The mother-of-three went on to reflect that she’s proud of her achievements so far, including her new lifestyle website Poosh, but confessed there’s still more she wants to achieve.

“Now that I’m doing Poosh, I just always wish I had more time,” she admitted. “I feel like I want to cry… It gives me anxiety.”

“I mean, I am (happy), but then sometimes I’m just like it makes you really like analyse just like where you’re at and then I’m like sometimes, ‘What am I doing?’”

Khloe assured her sister that her happiness is the most important thing, but confessed she feels the star is “incomplete” somehow.

“If you’re happy, that’s all that should matter for any of us,” the 35-year-old considered. “But I really don’t think your soul is happy…I think you feel incomplete somewhere. But you’re scared.”

Despite being clearly emotional as she opened up about her feelings, Kourtney admitted it’s important for her to take time out of her work commitments for herself, adding: “Half of me is like: ‘Live your life, have fun.’”
