Kristen Bell and Josh Gad reunite for animated series

Frozen stars Kristen Bell and Josh Gad are reuniting to voice characters in a new animated musical comedy series.
The actors have signed on to Apple TV’s Central Park, a show about a “family of caretakers” who live and work in New York’s famous landmark, and “end up saving the park and basically the world”.
The cartoon will be executive produced by Loren Bouchard and Nora Smith, the same people behind the hit Bob’s Burgers series, and it has already been given a two-season, 26-episode order.
“It doesn’t get much cooler than this,” Gad wrote on Twitter as he celebrated the news. “So excited to be bringing the world this new musical series.”
Central Park will also feature the vocal talents of Stanley Tucci, Titus Burgess, former Hamilton stars Leslie Odom Jr. and Daveed Diggs, and Kathryn Hahn, who has worked alongside Bell in the Bad Moms film franchise.
Meanwhile, Gad and Bell are also preparing to reprise their Disney roles as Olaf and Anna for Frozen 2, which is currently in pre-production, ahead of a November, 2019 release.
Gad shared a photo of himself with the film’s co-director, Chris Buck, in the recording studio on Monday (12Mar18), and quipped, “Back in the booth with Chris Buck, looking over some lines for a little animated film I’m working on and as you can tell, I am very very very happy.”
