With the latest Star Wars movie just a few weeks away, fans are becoming more and more anxious to know what Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones has in store for them.
Fortunately, we’ve got a few tips for those of you who just can’t wait, but take caution. Don’t blame us for any spoilers you may encounter.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Episode II is chuck-full of the new and the old Star Wars “stuff,” including a new four-armed character, a few additional planets and the old, familiar droids we’ve all grown to love.
Here goes…
Who’s got four huge arms, wears a greasy apron and pants that just won’t stay up? If you guessed Dexter Jettster, you’re really into the Star Wars scene. Dexter is the all-new CGI character who supposedly lends helpful information to Jedi hero Obi-Wan Kenobi about an assassination attempt on senator Padme Amidala.
Of course, a new Star Wars movie also means a new planet, and LucasFilms brings two to Episode II.
Kamino is one you’ve probably already seen, if you’ve watched the trailers. Home to the clone army, this water-laden territory also houses an endless ocean. Geonosis, on the other hand, is a planet with a completely opposite terrain. An arid, Mars-like world, it’s known for manufacturing droid armies.
And speaking of droids, R2-D2 and C-3PO will be standing by, as they have been in all previous episodes.
Of course, LucasFilms is known for keeping their secrets. Even the most die-hard fan won’t know all the details until the film’s special 11-city premiere on May 12 or its wide-distribution release on May 16.
