In what Wednesday’s New York Post described as an “unorthodox plea,” Jet Li, the Hong Kong movie star, has told parents: “I ask that you please do not take your children to see Kiss of the Dragon.” Li posted the message on his Web site www.jetli.com, noting that it “utilizes very realistic, hard-core, action-packed fight sequences.” The film is rated R and is not “appropriate for children,” emphasizes Li.
