Liam Hemsworth has nothing but good wishes for his estranged wife Miley Cyrus following their split after just seven months of marriage.
A representative for The Hunger Games star, 29, and the 26-year-old Mother’s Daughter hitmaker told E! News on Saturday (August 10, 2019) the couple had parted ways to “focus on themselves and careers”. And while Daily Mail Australia reported Liam told them on Monday he “doesn’t want to talk about” the separation, he took to Instagram on Tuesday to slam the quotes, as he shared an update with fans.
“Hi all,” he captioned a snap of the shoreline at sunrise. “Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.
“This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets,” he continued, adding, “Any reported quotes attributed to me are false.”
The star signed off the message: “Peace and Love.”
Miley and Liam exchanged vows at their home in Nashville, Tennessee on December 23, 2018, after dating on and off for 10 years.
