Liev Schreiber fixes move to New York for Ray Donovan – report

Liev Schreiber has reportedly fixed it for his show Ray Donovan be shot in New York so he can spend more time with his children.
The 49-year-old actor split from his long-term partner, actress Naomi Watts, last September (16) after 11 years together, during which they had sons Alexander, nine, and eight-year-old Samuel.
Amid their breakup both stars have had to rearrange work schedules in order to maintain harmony for their children, and according to Page Six Liev has requested that filming of his hit show Ray Donovan, in which he plays a Hollywood fixer, be relocated to the Big Apple so he can spend more time with his children.
Naomi and Liev used to share a luxurious Manhattan apartment in the Tribeca area of the city before they split.
“Liev is stuck in Los Angeles filming the show for most of the year, and when the season ends, he is usually on location filming a movie. He feels he never sees them,” a source told Page Six.
“The show is a hit, and he’s the star. He told Showtime filming had to move to New York next season, and they agreed.”
It’s thought writers are currently planning a plausible storyline to explain why his character has moved back to New York rather than staying in Hollywood, where the programme is currently set.
Reports also insist Liev’s co-stars, including Jon Voight and Eddie Marsan, are fine with the big move. Representatives of both Liev and Showtime have yet to comment on the claims.
