Lil Uzi Vert skips Minnesota festival

Rap newcomer Lil Uzi Vert disappointed fans in Minnesota on Sunday (28May17) after failing to show up for his scheduled performance at the Soundset Festival.
The Money Longer star, who also features on Migos’ hit Bad and Boujee, joined the likes of Gucci Mane, T.I., Travis Scott, and Ty Dolla $ign on the bill for the 2017 hip-hop event, but he was a no-show – leaving fans fuming.
Many took to Twitter to vent about his unexpected absence.
“F**k Lil Uzi on some real s**t, can’t show up to Soundset?,” posted one attendee, while another protested, “Lil uzi not showing up to soundset really put a hurt in my day (sic)”.
The 22-year-old has yet to comment on the reason for skipping the set, but he wasn’t the only one to scrap a planned performance at Soundset – Mac Miller pulled out of the festival on Friday (26May17) to remain by his girlfriend Ariana Grande’s side following the bombing at her concert in Manchester, England on 22 May (17), where 22 people were killed and many others injured.
