Luke Bryan undergoes surgery

Country star Luke Bryan has vowed to press on with his scheduled tour dates after undergoing surgery on his arm.
The Crash My Party singer suffered a broken clavicle after a biking accident last week (ends07Oct16), and took the stage in Greenback, Tennessee on Thursday night (06Oct16) with his arm in a sling.
Luke continued to play through the pain with shows in Kentucky and Indiana over the weekend (07-09Oct16), and on Sunday (09Oct16), he checked in to a hospital to have an operation on his injured arm.
“Heading to surgery. Ugh,” he captioned a Twitter snap of himself and a driver en route to the undisclosed medical centre.
However, he insisted the operation would not affect his tour schedule, adding, “Oh. Shows still on btw (by the way). Will be all good for Wednesday.”
He returned to Twitter to share an X-ray of his broken bones held together by a metal pin.
“All good. Got me some metal,” he commented.
Bryan, 40, will resume his Farm Tour trek in Batesville, Mississippi on Wednesday (12Oct16).
Thursday’s Tennessee gig marked the first date on the singer’s latest trek after the opening concert in South Carolina on 5 October (16) was cancelled due to severe weather warnings.
