Matt LeBlanc and Tinie Tempah embark on South African Odyssey

Actor Matt LeBlanc is taking British rapper Tinie Tempah on an epic journey through the wilds of South Africa.
On Wednesday (02Mar16), Matt posted a picture of himself and his unlikely new pal together in a car, revealing they would be spending a few days filming scenes for British motoring show Top Gear while traversing the country.
“My co driver (sic) for a few days. @TinieTempah goin low (sic),” Matt wrote on Twitter, after also sharing a photo of what he described as a “great day” in the picturesque South African landscape.
Tinie also seemed to be enjoying working with the former Friends star as he uploaded his own image of a mountaintop on Twitter.
“Woke up early this morning just to catch this view,” he captioned the shot. “Be grateful and stay blessed.”
Further details about the pair’s road trip have yet to be released, but Tinie and Matt will struggle to top former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond’s own filmed African adventures.
In 2007, the trio traveled across Botswana, covering over 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometres) in vehicles they had bought for under $2,110 (£1,500), while in 2013, they also set off on a lengthy journey to find the source of the continent’s Nile river.
Matt was announced as a co-host of the revamped Top Gear last month (Feb16). He joins main host, British TV personality Chris Evans, on the new series, while racing driver Sabine Schmitz, journalist Chris Harris, TV host Rory Reid and former Formula 1 team owner Eddie Jordan will also contribute as part of the presenting team.
