Matthew McConaughey delivers Thanksgiving turkeys on his birthday

Matthew Mcconaughey spent his 48th birthday on Saturday (04Nov17) donating Thanksgiving holiday turkeys to families in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
The Gold star, who represents Wild Turkey bourbon, seized the opportunity for some clever promotion for the brand by using the hashtag #wildturkeygivesback. He was one of 250 volunteers who distributed 4,500 free turkeys donated by bosses of the Butterball company.
Matthew posted a video about the charitable event on his Facebook page on Saturday, writing, “Thanksgiving, gratitude, we believe in our family that the more you’re thankful for, the more that you show gratification, the more that you’re gonna create in your life to be thankful for.
“I think it’s kinda scientific,” he continued, “and here’s kind of living proof of it right here this morning. Let’s go make some people happy and put some smiles on some faces, deliver some turkeys, there’s some people that are gonna be happy to get ’em.”
“Just keep livin’,” he added, concluding the video and referencing the name of his charitable foundation, Just Keep Livin’, which is “committed to the health and well-being of youth in our communities”.
In another video, Matthew arrived at a house, turkey in hand, where he was met by a very excited group of women. When he asked their names, one laughed, “Hot mamas”.
Matthew noted he couldn’t call them that because “that’s my nickname for my wife”. He then held up the turkey he was carrying and asked, “Ya’ll know what this is?”
“That’s a sexy man carrying a turkey!” one of the women quickly shot back.
Several other women also shared their delight at meeting the kind-hearted Texan, posting a series of selfies with the Dallas Buyers Club star.
