Meek Mill appealing house arrest

Rapper Meek Mill is appealing his house arrest sentence in a bid to continue making music.
The Ima Boss star, real name Robert Rihmeek Williams, was found guilty of violating the terms of his probation in December (15), after repeatedly changing his court-approved travel schedule, and accompanying his girlfriend Nicki Minaj to the American Music Awards in Los Angeles in November (15) without the permission of his probation officer.
He dodged a return to jail during a sentencing hearing in his native Philadelphia, Pennsylvania last month (Feb16), when he was instead given 90 days of home confinement. As part of the punishment, Meek was banned from working, and was only granted permission to leave the property for community service and charity work.
The rapper began his house arrest sentence last week (ends04Mar16), but it appears he is already starting to get bored, and on Monday (07Mar16), his lawyer Joe Tacopina filed a court appeal seeking a change in the conditions of his sentence.
According to TMZ.com, Meek has no problem with the length of his punishment, he just wants to be able to make use of his home studio while under confinement.
At the time of his sentencing in early February (16), the judge revealed she would reevaluate the sentence in 90 days to determine if Meek should serve extra time under house arrest.
He was also ordered to spend another six years on probation, relating to drug and gun charges from 2008.
