Michael Jackson’s Oscar missing

Michael Jackson’s Gone With the Wind Oscar has disappeared.
The King of Pop purchased movie mogul David O. Selznick’s 1940 Best Picture Academy Award for $1.5 million (£1 million) in 1999 at a Sotheby’s auction, but now the star’s attorney tells The Hollywood Reporter it has gone missing.
“The estate does not know where the Gone With the Wind statuette is,” Howard Weitzman said. “We would like to have that Oscar because it belongs to Michael’s children. I’m hopeful it will turn up at some point.”
