Mystery ‘medical situation’ forces The Libertines to scrap London gig

PETE DOHERTY’s band THE LIBERTINES were forced to scrap a show in London on Thursday night (10Sep15) due to “a medical situation”.
The reunited group was scheduled to perform at Camden’s Electric Ballroom, but had to pull the plug on the show at the last minute.
Unfortunately, fans had to wait for two hours after the group was slated to hit the stage to learn the gig had been postponed.
The Libertines are currently touring the U.K. ahead of the release of their third new album Anthems For Doomed Youth.
A spokesman for the venue says, “Due to an emergency – a medical situation – tonight’s show is being postponed. I say postponed because I mean postponed, not cancelled. A new date will be released tomorrow.”
The Libertines are scheduled to perform in Manchester, England on Friday night (11Sep15).
Details about the ‘medical situation’ that forced the cancellation of the show have not been revealed.
