After rehearsal conflicts led to a one-month postponement of their tour, ‘N Sync hit the road Wednesday, opening their “PopOdyssey” at Jacksonville’s Alltel Stadium with a video montage chronicling the history of the band to date. The five teen idols emerged then from the center of the stage to break into “Pop,” the first single from the forthcoming album, Celebrity, VH1 reported. In related news, the group might become digital with the ‘N Sync Hotline Fantasy Phone and CD-ROM for PC computers. The game will invite players, aged between 8 and 12, to compete for a virtual backstage pass by completing five short games, including a bowling segment featuring each member talking heads atop pins begging to be knocked down. The game is slated to hit stores in September.
