Natasha Hamilton and Ritchie Neville call off engagement

British pop stars Natasha Hamilton and Ritchie Neville have called time on their five-month engagement.
The former Atomic Kitten star and 5ive singer announced they were engaged to marry in October (15) after Ritchie proposed during a vacation in Rome, Italy, but their relationship has not worked out and they have now parted ways.
“After careful consideration, we have decided to amicably end our relationship,” they said in a statement to MailOnline. “There is no one reason for the failure of our relationship. Unfortunately it’s just the way things have turned out and it’s no one’s fault… In the interests of our family we remain good friends and we hope that people will respect our privacy at this time.”
Natasha also told Britain’s OK! magazine that she is “devastated” that they could not keep their family unit together.
“We really tried hard to make our relationship work but sadly we’ve mutually decided to go our separate ways,” she reveals. “At the moment I am focusing on Ella and the boys. As always their welfare is my primary concern and it’s been nice to spend some quality time with the boys in America and it has helped take my mind off the break up.”
Natasha, 33, and Ritchie, 36, began dating in 2013 after meeting on U.K. reality TV show The Big Reunion, when their former bands were revived. They welcomed their first daughter Ella Rose in September, 2014.
Ritchie also acted as stepfather to Natasha’s sons from previous relationships. She has Josh, 13, with nightclub owner Fran Cosgrove, Harry, 11, with dancer Gavin Hatcher, and Alfie, five, with her first husband Riad Erraji. They split in 2013 after six years of marriage.
