CNN’s Headline News channel, which has been trumpeting plans to “change everything but the name” of the channel beginning Monday, is unveiling its new anchors, set, and graphics, hoping to draw viewers away from rival news networks. Analysts are skeptical, however. “It just seems counterproductive to what most cable channels are used for, which is to go in depth on a specific subject,” Andrew Tyndall, publisher of the television news newsletter The Tyndall Report, told Monday’s New York Daily News.
