British royals Prince William and Catherine, Duchess Of Cambridge have released a new photo of their daughter Charlotte to mark her second birthday.
The toddler princess turns two on Tuesday (02May17), and her proud parents have continued their tradition of sharing a snap of their little one on her birthday, as they did last year (16).

In the image, taken by Catherine at the family’s country house Anmer Hall in Norfolk, England in April, Charlotte is seen gazing into the camera while wearing a yellow button up cardigan with a sheep motif, as well as a blue clip in her brown hair.
The Twitter account for the couple’s royal residence, Kensington Palace, shared the photo along with a note from William and Catherine.
“The Duke and Duchess are delighted to share a new photograph of Princess Charlotte to mark her second birthday tomorrow,” the message read, alongside a balloon emoji. “TRH (Their Royal Highnesses) would like to thank everyone for the lovely messages they have received & hope that everyone enjoys this photograph as much as they do.”
The BBC reports the family is expected to throw a party for the birthday girl.
William and Catherine do their best to keep Charlotte and her older brother, Prince George, three, out of the spotlight, though they happily share private snaps now and again.
For George’s third birthday in July, they enlisted the help of photographer Matt Porteous, who snapped the tot at Anmer Hall standing barefoot on a swing, which had been carved with the names of his parents.
“I really enjoyed the opportunity to take these photographs of Prince George. It was a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere,” Matt said at the time.
