Noel Gallagher celebrates 50th birthday with Bono and Madonna

British rock legend Noel Gallagher celebrated his 50th birthday with Bono and Madonna at a star-studded bash in Oxfordshire, England.
The Oasis founder reached the milestone on Monday (29May17) and held a lavish party at Aynhoe Park, a stately home in Oxfordshire, England, over the weekend (27-28May17).
Madonna posted a picture on Instagram showing her cosying up to the U2 frontman and Stella McCartney at Noel’s celebration.
The Material Girl singer, 58, captioned the image, “Worlds collided at Noel Gallagher’s birthday Bash!”
The rocker’s birthday plans hit the headlines earlier this month (May17) when his estranged brother Liam claimed his sibling and ex-Oasis bandmate had failed to invite any family members to the event.
The Wonderwall singer, 44, did wish his sibling a happy birthday on Monday however, writing on Twitter, “Happy 50th rkid (our kid) stay young LG x.”
He had previously slammed Noel after his brother’s party plans were revealed on Instagram by his PR guru wife Sarah McDonald, claiming that Noel had failed to invite their 73-year-old mother Peggy to his party.
Sarah had posted a picture of invitations showing Noel posing as Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar.
The brothers were united in sending their condolences and love to those affected by the suicide bombing attack which killed 22 people at an Ariana Grande concert in their native Manchester, England last Monday (22May17).
Liam has promised that the proceeds from his first ever solo show in the city on Tuesday (30May17) will be donated to the families of the victims.
Oasis’ 1995 track Don’t Look Back in Anger has become a rallying anthem for Mancunians in the wake of the tragedy, after it was sung by mourners at a vigil in the city last week (end26May17).
Noel told Britain’s Radio X that he was moved by the song’s adoption, saying, “As the years have gone by, it’s like that song is now more important than I’ll ever be.”
