Not Sick of ‘N Sync (Yet)

Can’t you people find anything else to buy? Guess not. Because for the seventh consecutive week, ‘N Sync’s “No Strings Attached” was the No. 1 album in the land. This, per sales figures released Wednesday. Said figures showed that the boybanders moved 190,000 more copies — off 2.2 million from their record-setting debut week back in March.

New on the charts, at No. 2, was the 504 Boyz’ “Goodfellas.” It’s a rap album, on the off-chance you were thinking Cajun zydeco.

Elsewhere, per the latest Billboard, “Maria, Maria,” another Santana collaboration, is our nation’s No. 1 pop single; Faith Hill’s “The Way You Love Me,” the No. 1 country single; and, Toni Braxton’s “He Wasn’t Man Enough,” the No. 1 R&B/hip-hop single.
