Old Town Road one week from U.S. chart history

Lil Nas X is one week away from making U.S. pop chart history.
The rapper’s Old Town Road hit has notched up a 15th week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and if the song can stay there for another seven days, the newcomer will tie the record for the longest run at number one.
Only Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s Despacito, featuring Justin Bieber, and Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men’s One Sweet Day have spent 16 weeks at number one.
Old Town Road keeps Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy locked in second place for a fifth week, while Post Malone’s Goodbyes, featuring Young Thug, debuts at three.
Khalid’s Talk and Shawn Mendes and Cabello’s Senorita round out the new top five.
