Paris Jackson’s representative dismisses Madonna biopic reports

Paris Jackson’s representative has dismissed reports suggesting the teenager is in talks to portray Madonna in a new biopic.
Last week (ends07May17), rumours suggesting Michael Jackson’s 19-year-old daughter was the frontrunner to star in the unauthorised biopic Blonde Ambition circulated, but now Paris’ representative has shot down the buzz, insisting her client has not been contacted about a role in the project.
“Any reports of her casting are just speculative,” the spokesperson tells GossipCop.com.
Madonna recently attacked the makers of the movie, which will be set in 1980s New York and will chart the singer’s rise to fame and the release of her first album.
“Why would Universal Studios want to make a movie about me based on a script that is all lies?” she blasted.
“Nobody knows what I know and what I have seen,” she added in a separate post. “Only I can tell my story. Anyone else who tries is a charlatan and a fool. Looking for instant gratification without doing the work. This is a disease in our society.”
Jackson made her acting debut earlier this year (17) in Lee Daniels’ TV series Star, in which she played a witty and intimidating social media guru. She also recently landed a role in her first film, and will reportedly appear in a dark comedy thriller about a meek businessman whose life changes for the worse when he becomes entangled with Mexican drug lords, the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and mercenaries.
The star-studded cast will also include Oscar-winner Charlize Theron, David Oyelowo, Amanda Seyfried, Thandie Newton, and Sharlto Copley.
According to Deadline, the 19-year-old will play and “edgy 20-year-old” in the project, which will be directed by Australian filmmaker Nash Edgerton, brother of actor Joel.
