Paul McCartney and Lorde auctioning off signed shoes for charity

Paul McCartney, Lorde, and Ed Sheeran have donated pairs of their own shoes to be auctioned off for charity.
Organisers at The Small Steps Project are working to help individuals “living on municipal rubbish dumps around the world,” as well as provide educational and employment services to underprivileged people.
Officials have collected celebrities’ shoes to sell for charity since 2010, and this year (17), they have also received donations from the likes of Katy Perry, Patti Smith, Sia, Moby, Mac DeMarco, Grimes, Killer Mike, The National, and members of Depeche Mode. Actors including Benedict Cumberbatch, Natalie Portman, and Adam Scott have also given up their signed footwear to go under the hammer.
The auctions have already launched online, with bidding open until 21 November (17).
