Kindergarten Cop star Penelope Ann Miller has been granted sole custody of her two children with her estranged husband.
The actress filed court documents to divorce James Huggins in November (17), five years after she dropped plans for the couple to legally separate.
The split subsequently turned nasty as Miller obtained a temporary restraining order against Huggins in early December (17), claiming his alleged abuse of alcohol has caused undue harm to their kids, daughters Eloisa, 17, and eight-year-old Maria.
Now, according to TheBlast.com, Miller has been awarded sole legal and physical custody of the girls.
The judge overseeing the case has also ruled Huggins must continue to stay away from Miller, the children, and the family home until a further court order is issued, or until the former couple reaches a settlement.
The pair wed in 2000.
