Miley Cyrus lost out on a lead role in hit cartoon franchise Hotel Transylvania after she was photographed licking a penis cake.
The singer claims she was booked to voice the role of Dracula’s daughter Mavis in the 2012 film, but film bosses quickly replaced her with Selena Gomez after the cheeky snap went viral.
The Wrecking Ball singer spilled the beans on the drama during a Twitter rant on Thursday (August 22, 2019), during which she slammed reports her marriage fell apart after she cheated on husband Liam Hemsworth.
Appearing to clear the air on a number of myths and mistruths, Miley wrote: “I got kicked off hotel Transylvania for buying Liam a penis cake for his birthday and licking it.”
She also confessed to losing “a massive Walmart deal at 17” for “ripping a bong”.
Miley’s penis cake photo cost her quite a lucrative deal – Hotel Transylvania, which also featured Adam Sandler, went on to become a huge hit, spawning two sequels. A fourth film is scheduled to drop in 2021.
