Potty mouths Snoop Dogg, JaRule charged

Rappers Snoop Dogg and JaRule were charged Thursday with using indecent language during a performance at the Sumfest music festival in Montego Bay three weeks ago, The Associated Press reports.

According to a statement from Montego Bay police, the two will have to appear in a magistrate’s court to face charges of profanity on Sep. 27. Because Snoop Dogg and JaRule have already left for the United States, the summons will be served to their agents in Jamaica.

Snoop Dogg released his latest album Duces N Trayz…Old Fashioned in July, but the rapper has more than music on his mind. Since January, Snoop Dogg has completed three films due out this fall.

Beenie Man, whose Art and Life won a Grammy for best raggae album, was also charged with profanity for his performance at Sumfest.

Police could not immediately say what the maximum penalty was for the charges.
