‘Prison Break’ Could Be Coming Back With Wentworth Miller

TV bosses are reportedly planning to revive cult drama Prison Break six years after it was taken off-air.

The jail series was cancelled after four seasons in 2009, but now executives at America’s Fox network are eyeing a reboot featuring returning stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell, according to E! News.

Sources suggest TV chiefs are planning to produce a short series, similar to cult action drama, 24, which returned as 24: Live Another Day last year (14) with just 12 episodes.

Miller and Purcell, who are already re-teaming for new superhero show Legends of Tomorrow, recently hinted at a Prison Break reboot earlier this year (15), telling E! that they had approached studio heads about a possible reunion.

Miller revealed, “We actually floated the idea to Fox very casually and they seemed very not casual about this interest. They seemed to think there was something there.”
