Producer The Gaslamp Killer sues rape accusers for defamation

Hip-hop producer The Gaslamp Killer has filed a defamation lawsuit against two women who have accused him of rape.
Chelsea Tadros and her best friend RaeAn Medina alleged The Gaslamp Killer, born William Benjamin Bensussen, raped them in 2013 at a hotel party.
In a post on Twitter last month (Oct17), Tadros alleged Bensussen drugged them and had “non-consensual sex” with both of them while they were “completely incapacitated”.
Bensussen subsequently denied the accusations on the social media site, writing, “Chelsea’s version of this story is not true… In this case consent was between three people, in the form of an offer which I accepted… I would never drug a woman, and I would never put anyone in a situation where they were not in control, or take anything that they weren’t offering.”
Now he has launched a $5 million (£3.8 million) lawsuit against Tadros, Medina, and Tadros’ boyfriend Jack Wagner for defamation, false light and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
In the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, Bensussen calls the allegations “malicious and fabricated”, and claims to have statements from two witnesses who allege the sexual encounter was consensual, according to RollingStone.com.
Wagner is named in the suit for, in part, for sharing the rape allegations online.
