Top model Lily Aldridge has been unveiled as Ralph Lauren’s latest campaign star.
The American stunner, who is married to Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill, hinted about her latest gig at the Met Gala earlier this month (May18), when she walked the red carpet in a vibrant yellow gown by the American fashion house.
In a gushing post on Instagram announcing her new job, Lily called it a dream to work for the brand, founded and helmed by 78-year-old Ralph Lauren.
“20 years ago my gorgeous sister @saffronaldridge launched @laurenralphlauren with @ralphlauren!! As a young girl, it was a dream to follow in her footsteps as a woman & model!! Thank you to everyone at @laurenralphlauren @ralphlauren @davidlauren @kevincarrigram @maiajames for making my dreams come true! Directed by the stunning @lizcollinsphotographer,” she captioned the campaign video.
Lauren will front the label’s womenswear line, which Ralph launched with former model Saffron, 50, in 1998.
English beauty Saffron, 32-year-old Lily’s half-sister, previously credited Ralph for helping to build her name in the fashion world.
