Actress Rebecca Ferguson has been left “exhausted” from laughing so much while promoting her new movie Life with pranksters Jake Gyllenhaal and Ryan Reynolds.

In the sci-fi thriller, directed by Daniel Espinosa, the three actors portray astronauts on board the International Space Station, who discover the first evidence of alien life on Mars.

They have spent the past few days traveling the world to promote Life, and Rebecca admits spending so much time with new best friends Jake and Ryan can be tiring, because they are constantly cracking jokes.

“It has been fun; ongoing, never stopping,” the Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation star told Good Morning America. “We just did a press tour and (I’m) exhausted by humor.”

Asked who the main prankster is in the group, Rebecca said, “I think it’s them together. You know some people just spin off each other? It is non-stop.”

And while the actress has really enjoyed working with the Hollywood superstars, she confesses their playful behaviour is a little too much for her to handle for joint interviews.

She shared, “They (studio officials) said, ‘Do you want to do interviews with them?’ I said, ‘No, no, I’ll be by myself. We need to try and promote the film as well!’.”

Ryan and Jake’s fast friendship also caused headaches for filmmakers during the shoot, because they would spend so much time goofing around inbetween takes.

“They (movie bosses) were like, ‘We really need to talk to Ryan and Jake,’ and they brought us in the corner and they were like, ‘You guys need to cut it out. We are wasting so much money!'” Jake laughed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night (20Mar17). “I was like, ‘We’re starting a bro-mance! Like, give us our time!'”
