Reese Witherspoon up for a Third ‘Legally Blonde’ film

Reese Witherspoon is keen to return to the big screen as lawyer Elle Woods for a third Legally Blonde movie.

The Oscar winner admits she’d love to see what her old character is up to, and during an appearance on  The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday (15Mar17), the 40-year-old pitched a new idea for a follow-up to 2003’s Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde.

“I think it would be kind of cool to see her (Woods) 15 years later,” she said. “Like, what’s she doing now? What do you think? I don’t know. But I need a good idea.

“She could be a Supreme Court Justice, or she could be a really great, powerful attorney… or she could be in prison! She could be anything. I don’t know!”
