Rihanna bans cameras and phones from Tuesday night Fenty fashion show

Rihanna has banned phones and cameras from her designer lingerie show at New York Fashion Week to prevent photo leaks before the collection streams exclusively on Amazon Prime Video from September 20, 2019.

The Tuesday night (September 10, 2019) Fenty event, featuring performances by DJ Khaled and Halsey with appearances from Cara Delevingne, Bella and Gigi Hadid, and actress Laverne Cox, among others, will be a look-only show.

Media and attendees have been told that photography and videography are prohibited inside the venue, while all cellphones will be locked in a case for the duration of the show.

“Rihanna has re-invented the idea of what fashionable lingerie should be for a global customer,” head of Amazon Studios Jennifer Salke said in a statement, confirming Prime members will be getting “an exclusive front row seat” in 10 days.
