Robert Carradine’s ex seeking temporary spousal support

Actor Robert Carradine’s estranged wife is seeking $4,000 (£3,100) a month in temporary spousal support after accusing him of cutting her off financially.
The Revenge of the Nerds star, the brother of late actor David Carradine, has been locked in a bitter divorce battle with his wife Edith since 2015, when he filed to end their 25-year marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
Edith claims the 63-year-old had been voluntarily giving her $2,450 (£1,900) a month, in addition to some of his royalties, while they worked out the terms of their divorce, but the payments stopped while she was recently in Switzerland to care for her sick father.
The lack of funds left her broke, and now she wants a U.S. judge to force Robert to pay her what she believes she is owed. She is also requesting $15,000 (£11,500) to cover her legal fees, reports TMZ.com.
Carradine has yet to respond to his ex’s demands, but Edith has suggested the judge force him to sell off his prized collection of guitars, guns, and cameras if he is struggling to pay her spousal support. According to her court papers, the memorabilia is worth an estimated $192,000 (£147,000).
