If you think polygamy is funny, then you’ve got a friend in Rodney Dangerfield. The funny-faced goof of “Caddyshack” and “Back to School” renown is set to release a new comedy, “My Five Wives.”
“I was inspired to write the story because my wife is a Mormon and I became fascinated with the whole polygamy thing. Polygamy’s still practiced in over 50 countries,” Dangerfield told the Associated Press.
Dangerfield, 78, recently underwent bypass surgery. “My Five Wives” hits theaters Sept. 8.
