Rolling Stones reschedule Florida show to avoid hurricane

The Rolling Stones have moved up their Saturday night (August 31, 2019) Florida concert to avoid a showdown with Hurricane Dorian.

The group’s Miami Gardens gig will now take place on Friday.

“Due to the weather forecast, the Rolling Stones show scheduled for Saturday, August 31 at the Hard Rock Stadium has been moved to tomorrow night, Friday, August 30,” Mick Jagger and his bandmates announced via Instagram on Thursday. “All tickets will be honored for the new date. There will be no opening act – doors will open at 6:00PM ET, and Stones will go on at 8:30PM ET.”

Hurricane Dorian is expected to drench America’s Atlantic coast over the weekend (August 31-September 1, 2019).
