Comedian Russell Brand’s mother is battling cancer for the sixth time.
The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star shared the news about his mom Barbara’s latest health crisis during an interview with Megyn Kelly on Tuesday (03Oct17).
“She’s got cancer again right now; she’s having chemotherapy at the moment,” he said on Today. “She’s had cancer six times, but the woman is very resilient. She likes it here on this planet, clearly.”
The 42-year-old Brit did not share any any details about the specific type of cancer with which Barbara has been diagnosed, but his comments emerge three years after she battled breast cancer for a second time in 2014.
She previously also fought and won her fights against uterine cancer and breast cancer when Russell was a kid.
