Serena Williams Asks Her Followers For Help with her Baby’s Teething

New mom Serena Williams has been left “so stressed” after struggling to find ways to comfort her baby girl during the teething process.

The tennis champ took to Twitter to ask her fans for advice on Sunday evening (17Dec17) after describing her heartache at failing to soothe her three-month-old daughter Alexis Olympia’s pain.

“Teething- aka (also known as) the devil – is so hard,” she posted. “Poor Alexis Olympia has been so uncomfortable. She cried so much (she never cries) I had to hold her until she fell asleep. I’ve tried amber beads… cold towels…. chew on mommies (sic) fingers…. homeopathic water… but… Nothing is working.

“It’s breaking my heart. I almost need my mom to come and hold me to sleep cause I’m so stressed. Help? Anyone??”

Serena was inundated with various suggestions from fellow mums, but has yet to share an update with her 10 million followers.

It’s not the first time the newlywed sports ace has turned to her fans for parenting help. Earlier this month (Dec17), Serena fielded tips about breastfeeding.

“Fellow moms: How long did you breastfeed?,” she asked. “Is it weird that I get emotional when I even just think about when it’s time to stop?”

Baby Alexis Olympia is the athlete’s first child with her husband, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, who she wed last month (Nov17).
