Shakira’s Chantaje duet with fellow Colombian Maluma has become the fastest Spanish-language video to reach one billion views on YouTube.
The promo debuted in November (16) and is now one of the few Spanish tracks to reach the one billion mark.
Celebrating the landmark on Monday (10Apr17), Shakira released a video online, and said, “I can’t believe it. I love you guys so much.”

Chantaje also became the fastest Spanish-language video to reach 100 million views just three weeks after its release.
