Shakira’s son a big fan of Zootopia

Shakira beamed with pride after catching her son singing along to her Zootopia theme tune.
The pop superstar treated her two boys, Milan and Sasha, to early screenings of her new animated Disney film, in which she voices the character Gazelle, and she knew it would be a hit after her eldest began reciting the lyrics to her soundtrack song, Try Everything.
“My son (Milan) is three-years-old and I caught him singing the lyrics and I was so surprised because I never taught them to him!” she exclaimed to U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America. “I think he absorbed them, I don’t know when, but he was repeating them. He was so cute!”
Little Milan loved it so much, he watched it “twice, in English and in Spanish”. “He really really enjoyed it,” the proud mum added.
Shakira is convinced film fans of all ages will take something away from watching the family movie, which also features the voice talents of Idris Elba, Jason Bateman, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Octavia Spencer, because it features social messages all relevant to the world today.
“This movie is about diversity, it’s about avoiding prejudice,” the singer/actress explained. “It’s about friendship and (the) value of true friendship, but also friendship with yourself and having the will and the commitment and discipline and determination to make sure you accomplish your dreams.
“I really feel like this film will resonate with many audiences, not only kids but also adults. It has a great, powerful message in many, many worlds.”
Zootopia is already in cinemas across Europe and opens in North America this week (04Mar16).
