Sharon Stone ditches management of 30 years

Veteran actress Sharon Stone has parted ways with her manager of more than 30 years.
The Basic Instinct star quietly ended her professional relationship with Chuck Binder over the summer (17), and has since signed a new deal with Mosaic talent agent Paul Newson and officials at Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
Sharon, 59, explains the change of representation was required to reflect her new career needs after overcoming a number of personal challenges, including divorce, fighting for custody of her eldest son Roan, and bouncing back from a stroke in 2001.
“It was time for me,” she tells The Hollywood Reporter of her change in management. “I’m not on that same shore anymore. I’m on a new shore. I’m quite different as a result of that swim through shark-infested waters (overcoming adversity).
“I need people who are going to see me differently with fresh eyes and understand that this is a very different person now given all of the things I’ve been through. I’m looking for a different type of car.”
