Sheen stages second Internet broadcast

During an expletive-laced 13-minute broadcast, the embattled actor raged about the “trolls” in his life, paid tribute to his dead dog, Betty, and took a call from someone he called Bob, who was keen to offer the star advice.

Sheen hosted the show solo.

During his rambling and random hour-long UStream.tv broadcast on Saturday night, the actor chatted with friends and frolicked with girlfriend Natalie Kenly. He also showed off a new tattoo and closed the show by reading from his book of published poetry.

He seemed to enjoy the experience so much, he told the 116,000 fans who tuned in he’d like to stage Sheen’s Korner from his home daily – but it seemed he’s had a change of heart after reading the backlash from fans and critics alike.

On Sunday (06Mar11), he sent out a tweet, stating, “Last night was treasonous to the movement. My bad.”

But he gave it another go later that night. It is not known if there will be other Sheen’s Korner broadcasts.

The embattled TV star has been a big hit on TV and radio across America this past 10 days as he talks about his tumultuous personal life and professional problems – a candid interview with Sheen earned news show 20/20 its biggest ratings in two years when it aired last Tuesday night (01Mar11).

Sheen’s media blitz began when the remaining episodes of the eighth season of his TV sitcom Two and a Half Men was cancelled after the actor went public with his criticisms about the show’s creator Chuck Lorre.

He’s also using his airtime to speak about custody issues after estranged wife Brooke Mueller won a restraining order against Sheen and took physical custody of the couple’s twin sons.
