Something green, ugly and bigger than before is coming to a store near you.
The Shrek DVD will be released Nov. 2, DreamWorks announced Thursday.
The two-disc set will contain 11 hours of bonus entertainment, including new “sequel” footage of the film, showcasing what happened to Shrek and the other animated characters after the theatrical release’s storyline ended.

Fans also will be able to use new technology on the discs allowing users to voice their favorite characters from the
film.
To date, Shrek is 2001’s highest-grossing film with $258 million.
