Irish singer Sinead O’Connor has accepted a marriage proposal from Nick Sommerlad, a Dublin-based correspondent for Britain’s Press Association, according to The Associated Press. The two met a few months ago after being introduced by mutual friends. O’Connor has two children from previous relationships, including drummer John Reynolds and Irish Times columnist John Waters. No date has been set yet. In the past, O’Connor has discussed her attraction to both sexes. When promoting her album Faith and Courage, she told Gaywired.com, “I’m bisexual. I’ve had relationships with both men and women. But it’s not something that I think too much about, because everyone’s bisexual–there’s no such thing as being gay or straight..I’m not a lesbian.”
