Sinead O’Connor settles tax debt in Ireland

Sinead O’Connor has settled her tax debt in Ireland with a $180,000 (160,300 euro) pay out.
The Nothing Compares 2 U singer handed over the cash to tax collectors following an audit.
Revenue Commission officials calculated she owed over $100,000 (90,500 euro) in tax, plus interest and penalties.
The singer, who has a home in Bray, Ireland, appeared on a Defaulters’ List of major tax settlements, which is published every three months by the Irish Government.
News of the tax settlement comes just a few months after Sinead sparked concerns for her health and welfare when she went missing in Illinois amid friends and family fears she was suicidal.
She was later found at a hotel near Wilmette and taken to a nearby hospital.
She also received medical treatment back in November (15) after leaving an angry suicidal note for her family.
