Singer Bruce Robison hospitalised

Singer Bruce Robison has pulled a string of tour dates as he battles typhus in hospital.
The Americana artist was hospitalised in mid-May (17) after falling ill with what he thought was a bout of the flu, but he was diagnosed with pneumonia, prompting his representatives to scrap a string of shows.
Over the weekend (27May17), Robison’s sister, singer/songwriter Robyn Ludwick, revealed on Facebook he is currently receiving treatment for bacterial disease typhus, which has caused “pretty severe complications to his liver, kidneys and immune system”.
His continued hospitalisation has forced Robison’s managers to postpone additional dates on his schedule, with the latest changes affecting Texas gigs in San Antonio and Bertram on Thursday (01Jun17) and Friday (02Jun17), respectively.
It’s not yet known if Robison’s next scheduled performance in La Grange, Texas on Saturday (03Jun17) will still go ahead.
The star is hoping to reschedule the missed concerts, reports TheBoot.com.
