The Tonight Show with Jay Leno – NBC
After weeks of cushy holiday vacation, Jay Leno returns tonight with a new episode, and a little help from special guests George Clooney and the all-but-confirmed 2008 presidential candidate, Senator John McCain.
Clooney is hot on the press trail for his new, post WWII release, The Good German. Directed by Steven Soderbergh and also starring Cate Blanchett, Beau Bridges, and Tobey Maguire, the black-and-white film follows Clooney‘s Jake Geismer, a war correspondent who travels to Berlin and ultimately gets lured into a twisted murder investigation involving his former flame.
