Stars take aim at President Trump over Paris climate agreement snub

Cher, Josh Gad, and Mark Ruffalo are among the eco-friendly celebrities who have blasted U.S. leader Donald Trump for snubbing the Paris climate agreement.
According to CNN, President Trump plans to announce the news this week. It means the U.S. will be one of only three nations not involved in the carbon reduction pledge made during his predecessor President Obama’s administration.
The promise made by all participating countries revolved around the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in an effort to affect climate change.
Trump has made it clear he is not a firm believer in scientific evidence the planet is warming at an alarming rate, but his latest decision has still stunned his critics.
“Our children & our grandchildren have all just been handed a dark future because of a man who tweets at 3:00 AM & doesn’t ‘trust’ science,” Frozen star Gad tweeted, while Cher adds, “2 Ppl of The (planet) Pls Know There R ‘MILLIONS’
Of Us being Held Hostage By Insane DICTATOR‼️”
And Avengers star Ruffalo rages: “If this is true he will have the death of whole nations on his hands. People will be looking to the USA for retribution for what they loose.”
Criticism has also come from Don Cheadle, who urges the President to “reconsider your #ParisAgreement decision”, and Ben Stiller, who tweets: “What a huge step backward. We should be leading the world on this.”
