Stewart is back on board business empire

The lifestyle guru resigned her post as boss of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia in 2003 after she was indicted on a number of charges relating to an investigation into insider trading.

She was later convicted of lying to investigators and served five months in jail, as well as agreeing to a five-year ban on serving as an executive of a public company.

The ban has now expired and Stewart announced on Monday (26Sep11) she will be returning to the board of her firm, telling the New York Post, “I’m back. Isn’t that nice? I feel wonderful.”
