Supermodel Niki Taylor, who was hospitalized following a car accident in Atlanta in April, returned to her home in Davie, Fla., on Tuesday, Reuters reports.
Taylor was released from Grady Memorial Hospital and admitted to a rehabilitation center in June. She returned to the Atlanta hospital in early July to have fluid drained from around her liver.
Taylor expressed gratitude to Dr. Jeffrey Nicholas and everyone at Grady Memorial Hospital for working hard to save her life.
She will begin physical therapy near her home in Florida.
Taylor was in critical condition following an April 29 accident in which the car she was a passenger in hit a utility pole. She was visiting friends in Atlanta at the time. The driver said he was distracted when he reached for his cell phone.
Taylor, who was wearing a seat belt, appeared not to have sustained any injuries but later complained of stomach pains.
She underwent surgery in May for sever liver and abdominal injuries.
