“Survivor 4”: back to the islands

It’s official.

The fourth installment of Survivor will be held in a familiar environment: on the volcanic island of Nuku Hiva in French Polynesia–quite similar to the location of the debut season, which took place on the isle of Pulau Tiga off Malaysia.

A CBS spokesman made the announcement on Thursday, saying that Nuku Hiva was a large island that will feature a greater abundance of natural edibles than season one‘s locale, such as bananas, coconuts and–you guessed it–pigs.
