Taylor honoured for AIDS work

The Hollywood legend is the founding international chairman of amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, and also created the Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation (ETAF).

She devotes much of her time to fundraising, and amfAR bosses celebrated her achievements at a party in the Big Apple to mark the organisation’s 25th anniversary.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg were also among the honorees.
